• Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (mHBOT) is a wellness-based therapy that gently increases atmospheric pressure inside a specialised chamber, allowing oxygen to dissolve more effectively into the blood plasma.

At Airox Wellness in Lennox Head, sessions take place in a seated 2.0 ATA hard-shell chamber designed for comfort and consistency. The mild increase in pressure supports oxygen delivery throughout the body, assisting recovery, cognitive clarity and overall vitality when used regularly.

  • You sit comfortably inside our seated mild hyperbaric chamber.

The environment gradually pressurises to maximum 2.0 ATA. As pressure increases, oxygen dissolves more efficiently into the bloodstream, increasing availability to tissues throughout the body.

Sessions are calm and structured. Most members relax, read printed material or simply rest.

For safety reasons, mobile phones, laptops and electronic devices are not permitted inside the chamber.

  • When delivered appropriately, mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy is considered a low-risk wellness therapy for most healthy individuals.

As with any wellness modality, individuals with medical conditions, recent surgeries, or respiratory concerns should consult their healthcare provider before beginning.

If you are unsure, we encourage you to speak with a health provider prior to booking.

  • Mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy may not be suitable for individuals with:

    • Untreated pneumothorax (collapsed lung)

    • Certain ear or sinus conditions

    • Severe respiratory illness

    • Recent thoracic surgery

    • Uncontrolled fever or infection

If you are pregnant, have a chronic medical condition, or are under specialist care, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before starting.

Airox Wellness is a wellness-based environment and does not replace medical treatment.

  • Hospital hyperbaric oxygen therapy is a medical treatment used for specific clinical conditions and operates at significantly higher pressures.

Mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy (like the 2.0 ATA chamber at Airox Wellness in Lennox Head) operates at a lower pressure and is positioned as a wellness modality focused on recovery, cognitive support and general vitality.

We do not diagnose, treat or manage medical conditions. Our approach is centred around consistent, structured oxygen exposure to support overall wellbeing.

  • Research and practical experience both support consistency over intensity.

Occasional sessions may feel restorative, however the most meaningful physiological support is seen with regular, repeated use.

This is why Club Airox exists - to make structured oxygen sessions simple and accessible within real life.

Most members attend multiple sessions per week as part of an ongoing wellness routine. Your ideal frequency will depend on your lifestyle, activity levels and personal goals.

  • Consistency is central to the Airox philosophy. We believe oxygen-based wellness works best when used consistently.
